About Patagonia
A place like no other
A town of 850 people, Patagonia sits in the heart of the Madrean Sky Island ecosystem; one of North America and the World's most diverse landscapes and home to the last remaining short grass prairie systems, hundreds of species of migratory birds, and an eclectic community of ranchers, hippies, artists, and athletes.
How to get to Patagonia
The drive from Tucson International Airport is 60 miles, about 1 hour 10 minutes.
If you decide to rent a vehicle for the weekend, you'll have a short and beautiful drive to Patagonia!
If you do not want to rent a vehicle, please arrange a pick up from our pal, Emily's Shuttle Service.
You can give Emily a call at: 520-394-2429
She will be running shuttles throughout the day from the Tucson Airport to Patagonia: Thursday, Nov. 7th & Friday, Nov. 8th.
She will be running shuttles from Patagonia back to the Tucson airport throughout the day on Sunday, Nov. 10th.
Emily is expecting your phone call and looking forward to getting you and your bicycle to/from Patagonia!
We recommend calling her ASAP to reserve your slot on her shuttle!
The drive from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is 170 miles, about 2 hours 40 minutes.
If you land in Phoenix, we highly recommend renting a car for the weekend. There are ways around renting a car, however, it will be your easiest option.
(If you do not want to rent a car, you could catch an AZ SHUTTLE to Tucson, then hire Emily's Shuttle Service to drive you to Patagonia. )
Shipping your bike
You can ship your bike to the race by shipping it to Patagonia Bikes!
Patagonia Bikes is our town's newest bike shop and Noe Mencias, the shop owner, would love to build up your bike for the festival weekend.
